Can I set-up the PS3 Media Server with the ‘Map network drive’ option on My Computer (PC)?

The ‘Unknown device’ that is supposed to show up in WMP 11′s Media Sharing menu does not appear. Can I do it another way, such as the ‘Map network drive’ option?

I’m on Vista.

   i did mine through WMP 11 like this
   library tab > media sharing > turn on ps3 and wait till it shows > then click allow or go to networking button below > full network map and select manually once its connected.

   but you could do it like this
